During our visit to the Lebanese restaurant in Essaouira, we were unfortunately disappointed by the service and the behavior of the staff. The waiter was extremely slow and seemed to have difficulties understanding our orders, making our meal unpleasant from the very beginning.

However, what shocked us the most was the treatment of certain local customers. Moroccan individuals came to dine, but the waiter completely ignored them until they decided to leave. This kind of behavior, which could be described as « internal racism, » is not only unacceptable but also very uncomfortable for other customers present in the restaurant.

As a result, we regretted choosing to stay because we had already placed our orders. If we had known, we would have certainly avoided this unpleasant experience. We want to warn other potential visitors and recommend them to look for other options in Essaouira, where they can find places offering better quality service without facing such unacceptable behavior.

It is important to emphasize that Essaouira has plenty of charming restaurants, offering delicious dishes and a welcoming atmosphere, at more reasonable prices. We strongly encourage visitors to explore other establishments that reflect Moroccan hospitality and the richness of its cuisine, rather than supporting an establishment that does not treat all its customers fairly.
